I am a lefty! I am not a sufferer though. And I had never heard the term southpaw until a few years ago. An old man called me that one day at work. I am also artistic not a schizophrenic though. I agree to an extent on what reallydown said about lefties being more anxious. And I think that I am..

I'm a lefty, but somewhat ambidextrous.

I do fine motor coordination with my left (writing, playing guitar), but do gross motor movements/heavy work (hitting, lifting, arm wrestling, bowling even) with my right. With tennis, I switch back and forth, but more of my strength is in my right hand.

I am highly intuitive, which is right-brain, prone to thinking in metaphor; although, the highly developed awareness/intuition might be partly due to survival instinct being constantly on the "on" position growing up in an abusive home.

Whichever, nature and/or nurture, I very much enjoy being intuitive, visual and....metaphorical. :rolleyes:
