I take the liquid extract sublingually, which is not really very effective, although I think I have seen a little benefit. I think people who vape it get much better results.
If you’re taking prescription meds, be VERY careful. Interactions can happen that aren’t picked up by med checkers. My breathing was suppressed to dangerously low levels.
I think it is THC that needs to be taken at a low dose. The THC can exacerbate any existing anxiety. Not sure what strain of CBD oil you are taking at at what percentage. I take high CBD - 30%. I take smaller doses of it throughout the day. It has been responsible for getting my body out of the chronic freeze it had become accustomed to.
Interestingly enough, now when someone tells me to breathe, I can actually do it!
Finally just broke down today and bought a vape and cbd. Feel like a stumbling toddler, but so far it was easy to get going. I had questions for others such as how many times a day (or even how many inhales they take each time) they vape at what mgs? My juice is 500mg but I don’t know what that means translated per vape, etc. I suppose it is different for rach person what they find helps.
Anyway...will take a learning curve and I’ll let you know if I think it’s helping. I have myofascial pain syndrome in addition to my cptsd (with bad depersonalization). I don’t want to resort to a medical card in my state as I’m afraid marijuana would actually worsen my depersonalization. It has been known to induce it in people who had no history of it.
