There are many people here with therapy qualifications, nurses, social workers, etc... but most keep it quiet, otherwise they can tend to be contacted by members wanting free help or thinking they have all the answers to their problems, which often is counter productive to those members, as they either have PTSD themselves or are supporting a spouse with PTSD, hence really being here.

If I allowed advertising on the site, then no doubt there would be a flood of therapists all marketing themselves and hyping their abilities, hence why its not allowed here, period... so it tends to keep therapists generally off the site, as most have no interest in helping unless paid for their work / recognition.
