Poll Are You A Man Or Woman?

Pretty Simple Question. I was curious to see what the ratio is between Men and Women on here.In my limited experience here the majority seem to be women. I wondered if this was actually the case or not.

I'm convinced I'm a girl. Don't like it sometimes......makes me feel too vulnerable and I don't want to be vulnerable.

female here - interesting poll - I don't know that statistically more women then men develop PTSD (Anthony would probably know more than I do about that) - however, I do wonder if females aren't more likely to seek out support in a forum type scenario.

TLight - I agree with your thoughts - sometimes being a female makes me feel more vulnerable too............

Good idea for a poll, except for the fact that men do not respond. They read. There are a lot of men here, but they rarely write or join in.

So, there only people who are going to respond to your poll ARE WOMEN!

well here's an example of the 'big, hairy & lumpy and not to be seen by light of day naked' group. men don't write anywhere near as much as women i suspect, but i'm no expert.

I know that Popeye is male because he told us on chat that he has furry toes like a hobbit. Manic is female, 2quilt,harmony of love and bonnecanyon are female, and JohnnyM53 is male.

There are more females on this forum than males, I can already tell you that without a poll. The reason is that females are genetically open to communicate emotionally and openly about what they feel and think, males are genetically not open to emotional discussion. It is more an effort for a male to discuss emotions than a female, though on the other side of the fence when it comes to doing, ie. exposure therapy, males are then more genetically acceptable to do and push themselves than females.

Both genetic makeups have ideal attributes that come easy, and then other aspects that each must force themselves more so.

Both sexes respond to polls. Females usually do tend to leave the responses, whilst males tend to just click their choice and leave it at that.

Since this poll is old and is more about the actual count of the man and women on the forum, why not start your own poll? Something like who identifies as being a man, woman etc.?

You should check if there already is a poll like that and then maybe start your own?
