I'm trying to reconnect to her. It's been so long.

Oh, good to hear you too are trying to do the same thing and understood what I meant. It is hard yes. Very hard sometimes. And my little girl is not that easy to deal with all the time.. But she do like crayons! :D

I miss my Mom and my dog, Shamu, right now. I cannot believe that it will be a year since the dog died at the end of March and then a year for my Mom in May. I've been numb all this time and am finally starting to feel alive and like I'm waking up.

So many people have died that I have been close to. I am missing my brother who I was really close to. I am missing my son and my husband mostly. I hate death that takes the ones you love away from you forever.

I am missing my husband who three years ago, was my caregiver. I miss all of the help and support he gave me.

I miss my grandparents. I can't wait to visit them soon.

I am missing my boss. He held it all together. Everyone knew it was ok with him there. Now he is gone we are all floundering and people are hurting one another and I don't like seeing this. We are like a little family and I miss this fatherly man.

I am missing my husband and the talks we used to have and his warm nurturing hugs. I miss him so very much.

I miss my best friend. He committed suicide when we were in high school. I blamed myself for over a decade because he came to me for support that night, and I did not welcome him. I still think about him often and know that he wouldn't have wanted me to feel that way. But he has given me an experience that has fueled my compassion and understand of myself, and others. Without him in life (and death), I would have been a very different person.
