Searching for treatment as soon as possible. In the past few days I've realized my birth family and I were victims of a wrongful adoption. I'm hoping to find an in-patient setting competent in adoption trauma and addiction in the US. Because my head is about to explode. I suspect I have two 18yo and a 3yo battling it out in the ole noggin. Could y'all share any resources that might fit? Thank you 🙏

I have been in therapy for a few years (CBT/IFS/grief/somatic) to wrap my head around my ADHD/CPTSD. I've spent time gathering all the triad files, including my original birth certificate and a nonidentifying profile from the adoption agency. Since I've been blessed to unite with my mom, I have files from her, as well as my adoptive parents.

It is clear the agency intentionally and negligently misrepresented info to all parties. The adoptive parents used agency malpractice to their advantage and lied about their age with the intent to deceive the birthmother. They also withheld material info about their own mental health. And, the agency deprived the adoptive parents of material medical info about the child. This led to adverse consequences for the child's and the adoptive parents' health. In addition, the child endured an abusive childhood within a narcissistic family. The child's ACE score is 7, not factoring in the adoption. The child did not receive her material medical info until age 37, when she requested a non-identifying profile from the agency, and the agency furnished it. This agency has been sued before and found guilty of negligence and fraud.
