I am a big F1 fan and when they interview Mark Weber I always count how many 'Errrr's' he says!

"Well errrr I did OK errrr, the car drove well errrr we had a good start errrr" etc!

Mind you, he's been here so long he's practically English!

I love Ausie slang and adore accents. Makes life more interesting!:D

Probably right. Although, Australians from Perth (Western Australia) do sound like they have an almost Scottish accent to me. As do Kiwi's. I never used to be able to distinguish Kiwi accents from Australians when I was in the UK but now I know it is very different.

That's because there are so many bloody poms over here! I go to my local super market and I'm out numbered! Only joking, but not about being out numbered. I can't say too much about the poms because we came to Australia from England when I was two, so I do have the aussie accent and slang.

W.A - stands for wait awhile, that's because we are 10 years and 3 hours behind the rest of the country.

Really you couldn't say there are too many rules of etiquette, use manners but other wise most Australian's are probably the most easy going people in the world, friendly and will do anything for anyone. They turn their noses up at snobbery.

"Da BOSS" (Nicolette lets Anthony call himself that apparently :D) is an Ocker, and I happen to know they don't take kindly to being referred to as "West Islanders" by the Kiwi's, so there is just a very slim chance that he may not tell the Kiwi's that I'm a South African (Saffer) and where to find me :whistling:




ps. If I'm not around for a while, "Da BOSS" threw me in forum Jail, and I'll be keeping dead quiet so as not to upset Bubba. I hear he is as large and aggro as Sonny Bill :eek::confused:
