Back Into Hospital Today !!

I am due the results of the biopsy and the blood tests midweek. I have not decided whether to go ahead with surgery yet, just the thought of surgery terrifies me as this would be my tenth general anaesthetic for major surgery. The last time I went under the knife I woke up mid operation.

That's understandable, why you're terrified of surgery. But please find out from your doctor the consequences of not having surgery. It sounds like you need it. I know your allergies -- that all sucks, but if surgery could extend your life, I hope you do it.

Just got off the phone to the hospital, they are going to admit me. The pain in my stomach is almost unbearable now, I just want to feel well again, this has been going on way too long now.i will have limited net access in hospital, that place seems like my second home now.

Wow, that must have been scary! I'm going into hospital soon for my operation, but I'm pleased to go through it, anything is better that having this kidney drain being stuck inside me!

Years ago! when I was kid, I had an out of body experience while having an operation on my head! I've had a couple of operations since then, and nothing has happened, so I think I will be OK this time

They are sending a hospital car on a non blue light run. Could be several hours. Am going to try and get some kip in the meantime.

Thinking of you. Hope they are treating you well and patching you up. Please try to breath and relax so your body can heal and the docs can do their job.

I don't really know much about how the NHS works but I hope they are treating you better than they are treating my best friend. I have a very low opinion of them because of what she is enduring. Terminal cancer and being treated as if she is no longer existing.
