Do any of you guys use oil? I'm a curly Mediterranean kind of guy. It worked for me.

I skip the oils for the beard. Stuff ends up making me think I smell like a wet dog.

Of course, having the viking type bear like attila does, generally I steal my wife's fancy keratin conditioner once a week or so, and fine tooth comb it each day. I haven't done it in years, but I used to grow it out and keep it braided. less upkeep that way. Nothing says "don't f*ck with me" like a braided handlebar and chin with silver celtic knot restraint rings on the end.

Hate to say it guys but I had a beard. Did my Viking ancestry proud. But one day I cut it off and I went naked ever since. My Chinese wife said, Look better. No hair on face.

I was the guy who would have a 5 o'clock shadow by the end of the day.
So once out, it was a must to let it grow. However I scare myself if I let it grow out too far.
