Hmmmmmmmm Beer as Homer would say it.

Ale, Lager, Stout, whatever your poison has an individuality about it.
The cheaper 'Get You Drunk' beers all taste like cats piss.

Some beer is best served room temperature, others ice cold. Just like Wine and Meade.

Crown lager has to be drank chilled. The colder the better.

Unfortunately, as I have gotten older, the hops used to make it now has an effect on me, like an allergy and also now that I have beaten the demon drink 'Spirits', I only drink mid strength beer unless I am celebrating.
But there should be a label taped to my forehead because my personality changes from Jimmy to 'Jimbo the Obnoxious' once I am a little salubrious.

This is an expensive vintage ale that costs around $80 a case of 24.
Its actually very hard to get and some guys pre-order their cases.
It will mess you up if you drink too much.

I grew up on this,

Greenall.webp

A proper sharp (loads of hops, Jimmy) Northern Bitter with a decent head on it. Best supped at cellar temperature.
Sadly no longer brewed, but it fuelled the north-west of England for 200 years!

apple jack moonshine....1/2 quart of 95 proof moonshine fill the rest of the jar with apple juice, and a cinnimon stick. Tastes like apple pie.yummm-o!
Guinness...cold,warm...glass, bottle, stoud, draught.. I love Guinness. I would drink it and nothing else if I could afford to.
Maybe add in some tullamore dew or jamisons as well. for sippin....

I heard that Guinness is supposed to be very good for you, high in iron content or something. If that isn't justification... Never mind, I just googled it, and is says: "you'd need to drink 15 pints of Guinness to get the same amount of iron as two Weetabix."

It is provided to surgery patients to speed recovery in Ireland...if the doctors like it why can't I? Andif I had a choice of 15 pints or some weetabix... guess my choice? I dare you! :)

Strong smooth and dark for me. A good German Doppelbock or a nice Belgium Double is my weapon of choice.
And I want to be alone with my computer or some music because I get far too relaxed and sloppy to have anywhere near an intelligent conversation.

Some of the imperial stouts are lovely as well.
