I love Bernie.I also love Hillary (but not as much as Bernie)

However, Martin O'Malley still has my heart, even though he dropped out.

For those of you who don't know him, he was the third democrat guy in the debates that nobody really cared about.

I actually wrote him letters and got responses, and he's writing me a letter of recommendation for colleges, for all the hard work I did for his campaign.

After the Iowa caucus, he dropped out. I legitimately cried, and I didn't even cry when my grandfather died.

For those of you not feeling the burn, perhaps you might start your own thread, to support the person...

I'm just weighing the odds. I hope people don't waste their votes on someone with slim chance, as they did by voting for Ralph Nader, supposedly to protest both big parties. That was stupid.

I don't believe being cool qualifies anyone to be the POTUS.

I believe that Bernie is the only candidate in the race, Dem or GOP, who is not bought and paid for. We know this because of the way he is running his campaigns finances.

Bernie is the only candidate that takes race relations on as an issue, and has since he walked with Dr. King and fought alongside the civil rights leader of our country. (he is one of the civil rights leaders of our country)
Bernie is the only candidate that understands this is all a power play for our country's wealth. If we are divided, we will fall.

Bernie is the only candidate who is serious about climate change.
Our country has been pulled to far, to the side of greed, to seriously do anything to combat climate change. If our power co's are not making record profits, they have no interest in the greater good.

Bernie is the only candidate that is in this election for us, not his bottom line, and if you can't see past the propaganda to understand that it's time for the fall of the US military industrial complex, don't worry the rest of the world will be reminding us for years to come.

These are just a few of the reasons why I will be voting for Bernie, being cool really does not play into my decision, at all.

Honestly? Because of our magical electoral college system? My vote in the general election for the 2012 presidency?
If I voted Obama,I knew it would magically become a vote for Romney!
So I voted for the Green party candidate...which also magically became a vote for Romney.

So voting in the general for a third party...even though it'll magically become a vote for the republican candidate?
Because my vote makes no ACTUAL difference in the general election, that makes sense.

For the majority of US peeps who are not in swing states?
Your vote for the general presidential election, too makes no actual difference. Therefore it REALLY would be great of you to start favoring third parties for president and for other offices.

Off topic...but if you can, get your money into a small local bank or credit union. Get it out of the too-big-to-fail banks. Don't feed the beast.

People tell me I'm negative when I state things that seem to be congruent with reality.
Maybe I need more medication.
We're on the same side (ultimately), right?
Side? Group?
I think getting Bernie elected would be a small step in the right direction.
The problem's far too entrenched and pancultural for one person to sort in 8 years. I'm really happy he's still in the fight, even if it looks like he's going to have a close loss.
That in itself is some modicum of progress
