(((Jawn)))

I hope for your sake it is settled soon as you say it has been a rocky road.

Sending positive thoughts that you find your balance in life.

Damn.... I wrote a reply and now I see it is not here.....

What did I say now????

Wishing you a speedy resolution through this painful process Jawn. It's sad when things turn emotional and all it ends up doing is costing money to get back to the same place. While it will take time for your wounds to heal along with a broken heart; may you find some closure when the legalities are finalised. With closure you can then begin to move forward with your life and find a new direction instead of being stuck dealing with what is now the past.

Divorce is sad and heartbreaking for all concerned. I do not wish it upon anyone nor do I think it is easy to go through especially when one was still hopeful of reconciliation. May time pass as painlessly as possible while you heal Jawn and remember that life is a journey and your path with bring you to new happiness even while the road feels very rugged now. Hang in there!

I could never convince the ex that the only people getting anything out of the divorce were the lawyers- frustrating to watch $ vanish, I know. They're awfully good at convincing the people involved there's a need to drum up contention- guess they consider it earning a living or something.

I'm glad the dust is settling now for you, and the world is looking better. I can't add anything, or at least phrased better to Nicolette's post so will spare you the reading. Yes, do hang in there and please know it's sincere when I say it's awfully good to know there's some light at the end of this murky tunnel finally for you.

Do take care,

Anni

(((Jawn))) I am sorry this has been so tough Jawn. I can only imagine the emotional pain that goes along with all of it. Especially when you wanted to work things out with her. You're a good man and when all this is over you will be able to start the healing and rebuilding your life. You deserve a wonderful one Jawn, you really do.

Thanks everyone. I am sure things will get better once the dust settles on everything here and I get a handle on work too. After a trip to a new doc today, I will be starting some new med's that should help with my focus & concentration at work. Hopefully the boss will notice! ;)

Just curious....what med? I have an appt for the 5th to change mine.....

I am sure things will work out Jawn. You're a hard worker and you deserve it ;o)

I was diagnosed with adult A.D.D., so I have new med's for that and they are "controlled". I have to get a new written RX each time and take it to the pharmacy because there are never refills on this stuff. Let's just say I'm buzzing today! :D

Nice to hear from you Jawn. I can say that I've been thinking of you off and on over the last months and I'm sure many others have been too. When you're down maybe that will help - someone somewhere is thinking of you:) Probably in many different time zones, too. So you're covered.

Well the paperwork is done and we are divorced & the attorneys made out like bandits.
Any way, time to move on and enjoy life again. At least after the attorney bill is paid
Off! Lol

Oh on the plus side I have met a wonderful woman. And guess what? She has PTSD too!
What are the odds of that? ;-)

On the down side, I may be unemployed after the 21st.
Sigh....

Jawn,

Glad to here that your life is moving forward. Sorry to hear about the potential job loss, and I wish you the best the best there.

Thank you for taking time to post an update. It is nice to hear how people are doing after they leave for a while.

Take care of yourself and enjoy your new life!

Deb
