For those that are dying to know, I bought a car tonight. My wife says it's nice, but she doesn't like the tinted windows. And surprisingly, she didn't want to drive it home, although I think it was because she was getting tired and figuring out a new car was not high on her list right then.

I found out why my wife didn't want to drive the car last night. Her back was hurting her a lot because she has had to cancel her last 2 chiropractor visits. She will get things rearranged today. We also had an email discussion today about something she wanted to get and I said no (more than once). Here was her reply "usually I can talk you into stuff, but not this time, so we go with your instincts." That made me laugh because she's right, she usually gets her way. :smile:

So today turned out pretty good, but it started off bad. I was ready to go home by 10am and say the heck with it for the day. First the wife ticked me off, then the loan person handling my refinance, then something at work, .......... glad that by afternoon there was a smile on my face again. Oh, I also found out that my new-to-me car is $1.13 cheaper to insure than my crashed car. Woo hoo! What will I do with all of that extra money? :rofl:

I'm not sure if I should say good for you for sticking to your guns on not letting wifey buy what she wanted or ask you why not??? You know, us girls have to stick together on these kinds of things, HEE!

Actually Iam it didn't have anything to do with money. It was something that was free, but I just didn't want it.
Luckily she listened to me (for once!). :smile:

Thanks sickofit. Sometimes it's hard for me to see that in what I write, but it's nice to know others see that. I guess right now I am like many others on here and just taking it one day at a time. And when it's a bad day, I just try to remember the ones that have been good recently. I've always believed the glass is half full, although lately it has been hard to see that sometimes.
