That's funny you would bring up the fostering animals (we do have a lot in common) I have been reading about all sorts of stuff to do with dogs and I just read about the fostering thing. That does sound like a win/win. You must be good with the dogs to be able to take different ones, with different histories in, I bet you learned a lot. This would be one thing to do if some one was staying in one place!

Yay I can post to my hearts content all these pics of Thea and travel! Doing this now because of the wisdom I got from people on this site about grieving your emotional support animal. My mom had a long slow death from melonimia and the only good thing about that was I learned the power of anticipatory grief, that for me I worked a lot of stuff through, most of it before she was gone, so by the time she did I was able to be there for her and let her go, the only thing I had left was just to miss her physical presence, that is what I am attempting to do with Thea, and it makes me treat each day as if it could be our last, weather that time is today, tomorrow or ten years from now.

This is the Everglades three weeks ago, we were there for New Years.

Glad u stopped in! So right on the cigs I am at 100 days without, did you ever smoke? Doing Tai chi and...

YEs. I still smoke sometimes, but I mostly vape. I was doing well cutting down the vaping but PTSD reared its ugly head, so I upped the nicotine in the vape to keep off the smokes.
