Hello,
I don't know if there is actually a PTSD group in Boston, but was hoping you could point me in the right direction, since your post was not to long ago I thought you might know of one.
I live an hour and a half from Boston, but can't seem to find any other groups. If there is a group going on, I'm willing to travel. Does anyone know if one has been established, yet?
I am a bit North of Boston and could really benefit from a PTSD Support Group. Online is great but maybe some coffee or lunch group meets with a few others would be perfect.
Please share any info if this type of group has been set up yet in the Boston area. I am interested!
I just realized most of the initial posts for this group suggesstion are either old or too new. I'm guessing PM is not an option for newer members so I'll take a chance with email. I have not been able to find a PTSD group north of Boston and would like to get started on one (I've been trying to find something for two years).
My husband came through his surgery well. So now I'm back to starting a group again. I've posted a thread with regards on PTSD chat. I've gotten a few emails showing interest but I have to explain that because I can't drive the location will most certainly be in Billerica, not an easy one to get to from Boston. If your in the Metro area I suggest Googling PTSD Groups Boston or Cambridge. I know that there is at least one in Cambridge. Also try craigs list Boston. For info on Billerica PTSD contact the same email listed in previous post.
Wow...look at all the Bosonians!!!! I was born and raised in Boston and I live about 30 minutes west of the city now. Clare, I'm glad to hear your husband is doing well! I guess Billerica would be a hike for me so I just wanted to shout out at my fellow Massachusettians! Can you beleive the Yankees won??
