Broken to Unbreakable PTSD Recovery

This program and many "coaching" modalities like it are predatory and unethical. I would report to the FBI and also continue to broadcast on forums like this.

I watched it and signed up for the class. It is impossible to keep up with the pace of the program. They promise your money back within 2 weeks, but when I asked for it, now I have to "qualify" and they will review my work. These people are NOT medical professionals. They have NO certifications at all. I suspect they have a military background, but their whole system is based on an internet money making program. they are not interested in your health and well being at all. I am sure it helps and works for some people. for those that it does not work for, it is a complete waste of money. Stay away, if you ask me.

If anyone knows who I can report them to in the medical community, please let me know. I have no doubt they have taken alot of people's money and never give any back. People probably just give up and move on, because they make it so hard to get the money back, even though they use that promise to get you to sign up. Unethical and dangerous for people really suffering from PTSD.

STAY AWAY!

Thank you everyone for your feedback. I was about to part with the cash. Fortunately I knew there were more webinars so I was able to download the webinar transcript with the extra habits info and process it and then search online and found your pages and helpful feedback. I’ve recently been learning about neuroplasticity and the benefits to heal our brains/traumas to build new pathways. I feel intelligent enough to try this. I have tried many things and this sales pitch made my vulnerability reach for the money. What concerned me, as mentioned, is the advice for how to get the money to pay for the program; the slagging off of all other treatments and therapists (always a weak sign I believe); and the strong sales pitch. Added to this your helpful conversations. Thank you a lot. Peace & total harmony to you each

I just watched a webinar about a program called Broken to Unbreakable PTSD Recovery. I'm curious if anyone has tried this? It SOUNDS good, but looking for definite real world testimonials/opinions of the program. Thanks for any info!

I would not touch these people with a ten foot barge pole. These people are ultimately business people first and their price is horrendous. $1,332+ so all I can say is if you can afford it, go for it. However there are SERIOUSLY cheaper alternatives. They operate on a strict 14 day money back guarantee basis and after that, you are trapped into paying up. I tried this as I was suckered in by the story that they gave. It sounds inspiring, but the reality is that they are now causing myself so much distress. PLEASE don't try this program out, if you would struggle to pay the full amount, it is not worth the aggravation of taking them all the way to court, which I now have no alternative but to do. I hope this review has helped to restore some clarity and understanding to you. Above all please keep safe. Much love to you.
Nik

And also to add I am from the UK too. So I am looking to bring them over to the UK and bring them to trial. Once again stay safe and dont trust them AT ALL. And thank you so much for this site, I Only wish I'd discovered this 5 months ago. Stay safe. Xx

I too watched the 2 1/2 hr presntation but b y the end she has contradicted herself many times. I wrote querying that in the chatbox. No reply. Now for those of us with c-ptsd I dont believe she ever had it. The symptoms don't match. She goes on and on as if flashbacks are the only problem. She does not recognise the several types of PTSD. And I dont believe Brad had PTSD from helping her with her supposed PTSD. I do believe its possible to recover but I don't have the answers. I think this is an unashamed money grab. There are only 3 testimonials and those from people who havent completed her course. Avoid it likethe plague

Yep... I did it this week... now doing my due diligence around the programme. I think it looks promising with genuine people behind it... it is based on a life coach format... but that is okay with me.

So sorry you are finding it difficult to get them to abide by their money-back offer. Sounds just like many other internet programs I've been warned about.
As a mental health RN, I'm interested in ANY program that could potentially help my patients. What did you think of their workbook? Any value or just a rehash of what's previously published? I might look for a copy of the workbook on Ebay if there's any quality content. (Feel free to email me at [email protected] if you want to talk about the materials)

One book I've recommended to a few of my higher-functioning pts is "The Body Keeps the Score" by van der Kolk. He's an MD who works with military vets through Massachusetts general & the VA & has some powerful findings, along with recommendations for multi-mode therapy. It's not written for lower-functioning pt's so I don't recommend it to everyone, still looking for a great resource for those pt's.

I think Van Der Kolk "The Body Keeps the Score" is light years ahead of this woman. Not that she doesn't say some interesting things but her practices are not monitored (even as a coach) by any outside entity - Her experience could end up hurting not just helping - be cautious is what I would say.

Can you explain more about the class? What solutions were they teaching? What did they tell you to do? Thanks!

This is not a scam. I bought the program. It is by far the most comprehensive program I have ever seen for anything. The material is very deep and extensive. There are relief tools that include a host of techniques from multiple specific guided meditations to visualizations and even tapping techniques that work for real. You get a consult call every week and she is really brilliant and very present and answers all questions very thoroughly. There is a weekly Q and A on Facebook where she answers any and all questions and gives great advice, and my god the workbooks are amazing if not a bit challenging and overwhelming at times.
She even coaches you on how to find your best therapists, how to interview them, and what works. She essentially lays out exactly how to find your ideal therapist systematically.
The most important part is that it does work, if you work it, like the NA and AA programs, you have to work it to get the results. And it is a 2 steps forward 1 step back proposition.
She advises on all fronts: how to set up a great sleep routine, exercise routine, meditation routine, yoga if desired, how to improve your difficult relationships, how to get out of a bad relationship. How to tell if your relationship is a bad one, and if it is you or your partner that is the problem. Very clear and thorough. Self acceptance, self- love, on and on. Incredibly comprehensive program.

As others have pointed out, it's a life coaching platform. For some, that's a great support. But it's most definitely not treatment. The owner is very clear about that in their disclaimer:
Upon access of Overcoming PTSD and it’s products/programs, client understands that the role of Kayleen Wright and overcomingptsd.info is not to provide health care, medical, nutrition or therapy services; or to diagnose, treat or cure any disease, condition or other physical or mental ailment of the human body. Rather, Kayleen Wright is a mentor and guide who has been trained in PTSD coaching to help others reach their own goals by helping them devise and implement positive, sustainable lifestyle changes. The client understands that Kayleen Wright is not acting in the capacity of a doctor, licensed psychologist, licensed therapist or other licensed or registered professional, and that any advice given by Kayleen Wright is not meant to take the place of advice of these professionals.

I think this thread has provided readers with a comprehensive review of the program. I'm going to lock it. Questions on that decision, or requests to reopen, reach out to me via Contact Us.

ETA: re-opened, to merge another thread.
