Thanks for the laugh @Cashew !

I did some searching at work and decided to go river rafting for four days in Oregon. I love rafting and can do it at my current fitness level so even if I don't lose weight, no worries. And it's eight months in thd future instead of 90 days from now. And a third of the price of the retreat.

This feels much more expansive. And T thinks it's a great idea and that I'm actually breaking old patterns instead of repeating them like I thought.

It's been a very good day and I actually prepared my meals today instead of eating out - a rare thing lately.
 
Chiming in, I've found it refreshing to have your thread speak to so many topics that interest me, and are not often combined in one thread: spirituality, ignorance of people who 'fit in', writing, weight, outdoor activities,and accommodating and finding activities that suit our body's condition. Of course, they relate to me, too. Thanks!
