Hi . I just joined today in need of support and information on how to manage c-ptsd and bpd . The original illness started from emotional physical and sexual abuse by my dad as a child . Overthe last 20 years I have had experienced a series of relationship breakdowns and trauma associated. Hence diagnosis of c-ptsd and bpd . Currently I am really struggling with areas in my life regarding abandonment . Self worth . Deppression .and suicidal thought's . Dr had to put me on temazapam yesterday. To calm me down to get some sleep . I had only slept 7 hours over 5 days due to brain racing and being really angry . I'm currently on paxil 40 mg but was on zyprexa 40 mg too have been on both for 3 years stopped zyprexa recently due to not working. For me and my Dr is looking at changing the paxil next week to lithium . Any help greatly appreciated as I do know where to start I'm really lost . Thanks all

Hi Louise,
Welcome to the forum.
C-PTSD symptoms are certainly well able to screw up relationships.

as well as the forum posts, there are some good resources in the "vault"
also, have you checked out some of the specific BPD sites? Debbie Corso's site is one that I know of.

This is a great place to find out we're not alone in our experiences. hope the symptoms ease soon, and I look forward to seeing you around.
