I am well past 40 years old and still struggling with my full recovery. I was subject to various and prolonged abuses for the majority of my childhood years. Sexual abuse, being locked in closets, that sort of thing. To see me on the street or in a group you would not think anything amiss. My main issues now are disassociation, triggering events and the impact of stress on my ability to perform daily tasks. So, I'm here for some additional support.
