Can Someone Give Me Advice

i am in alot of need of some advice as how to fix my anger i dont know why but i get so mad at the dumbest stuff and it has been getting worse i dont know how to stop it when it happens and i dont even know why im mad

Read through these links mate, especially the first one. You will understand a bit more.
Combat rewires your body and the stressors of day to day life sit you on a knife's edge with your emotion. So you revert to the fight or flight caveman response. And because of the military training, you want to fight.

You need to see a psych or an MD to prescribe you with something to calm your thoughts down so you can process stuff.
 
And Somebody. The one thing you have to understand is that none of us here on the forum are really qualified in psychiatry or psychology, and if we were, it would be improper to treat you online. And the same with medications, even if we were qualified pharmacists, we could not recommend. We are all different.

The only thing we really have in common is PTSD and that we have all served in a military unit of some sort.

This forum is only here for us to exchange information which we have gathered from legitimate sources. Share our experiences and what has worked for us. Share what medications have worked for us. Share what therapy has worked for us, and lastly to share a chin wag around the bar. A joke, some music.

The main point I wish to make mate is that you have to make all the steps yourself and seek the proper help yourself. The VA is one of your first steps and if your not happy there, try a Veterans Centre. There will be other veterans there that can point you in the right direction or lend an ear.

Remember, we are here for you too, but we can only make suggestions and give our opinions, the rest is up to you.

Mate, you've done the hardest bit, realised it and spoken up. I agree with Jimmy that your priority is to see a medical professional, get some meds that help bring the revs down to a managable level, so that you can take charge yourself.
I'm speaking from experience there, it makes all the difference.
 
Medications can work if you let them, addiction (prescription) no worries, we all have addictions, like breathing for one. See a psychologist also, at the VA you have to ask, they don't volunteer. Discuss anger and its relatives, specifically. Information as to how anger works, what causes it, and the bodies physical reactions and your responses (responsible actions, they one's that you pass through your thinking parts) are important.
 
The biggest step is accepting that you need help, The next step is getting it, As the others hasve said, you need a profesional for that, The VA is there, I know loads of guys on here, tlak them down, but they are there for you.

Took me about 4 clinics and the shit hitting the fan, to accept I had a problem and getting help. When I did, I was in clinic for 9 months. Best move I ever made. You need to get help Somebody mate. There is no way of going it alone.
