Hi, I would love to know the answer to this as well. Right now I am currently on zoloft and Klonopin for the anxiety until the zoloft starts working, but I would love to know if it is helpful with anxiety througout the day and can help with some dissociation as well as general recovery of cognitive functioning such as thoughts, feelings, and emotions, maybe normalizing them or helping me feel a little more human again. So sorry I could not answer your question. however, right now I have a whole new set of symptoms due to a retraumatization, but in the past I used medical marijuana for ptsd symptoms and self reflection. it was a huge help and relief, it helped to remind me to laugh at some of my fears, and in general not take myself and everything so seriously. But at that time I was consistantly in a safe place with my husband.

I just started using marijuana for my PTSD symptoms and it helps quite a bit. Sorry never tried the oil but now that you mention it I'd like to try.

I recently started a daily regimen of cannabis oil- when I say this, I'm referring to the oil from the seed of the hemp plant, which notably has high levels of CBD and only trace amounts of THC. I'm taking it for winter hydration as well as for depression and anxiety, but I can't report back yet on how my symptoms have been affected because I just started, and I'm taking other things which would confuse that report.

There's a lot of interesting research out regarding CBD and various ailments. It's worth it to do independent research though, and important to note that how long it helps you through the day may not be the best way to look this if want to get the most out of it, healthwise. It's probably going to be more of a long-term thing, where "skipping a dose" by accident is not going equal some catastrophic increase in the challenges you face throughout that day but continuous use/ disuse will give you more "macro"- than "micro"- focused idea of how your symptoms were affected by taking it.

I also make an infusion/oil from the green leaf material and stems... which is high in THC. Perhaps ironically, I use this oil externally and it has made my skin glow to the point where foundation is just kind of an insult. That may sound like it's beside the point, but I think pampering yourself/ recognizing your beauty can be a really uplifting form of self care and positive attitude adjustment.

When I make this infusion/oil or butter for internal use, it's very potent and I wish I could tell you what it's done for my condition but I've never tried it medicinally or in micro-doses.

When I smoke cannabis for medicinal purposes it's very different than when I smoke for any other reason be it spiritual, recreational, communal, habitual. It isn't just something I pick up casually and call medicinal just because I'm smoking and happen to also be depressed or anxious or experiencing an ailment that marijuana can treat... the type of marijuana is important, where I am and what's going on around me is important, and my intentions are hugely important- if I'm not focused on/ receptive of alleviating my symptoms & I treat it the way I imagine many folks treat popping a pill... as a do-and-done type deal rather than as process I'm active in, what help it does me is rarely anywhere near as constructive or lasting as it could be.

I hope this helps, if you're thinking about considering cannabis for treatment.
Feel free to let me know if you have any questions about my progress or process with medicinal applications of this plant.

When it comes to taking medicine, I use herbs almost exclusively.
When it isn't an herb, it's a mineral or some other non-synthetic earth-jewel =]

I'm a big fan of marijuana concentrates, but they're not for everyone. Concentrates in edible form are still too strong for me and I'm prone to negative side effects on that stuff. I prefer a 1:1 or even 2:1 CBD blend for my nightmares and max out at two dabs before bed.

I have been using cannabis for a long time. After my assault 1year ago my usage went up significantly. I used it in edible and smoked it for the 1st 7 months. I was also able to discontinue a 9 year benzo treatment by tapering carefully. December is one year without any meds but cannabis. Although I went through a 2month complete body detox recently.

I can say cannabis helps me so much. I do not use it in edible forms now but will continue to smoke the herb when I'm through with my detox.

I prefer a sativa strain over an indica because of the uplifting affect but do add indica in for the calming couch potato affect.

I also use Sam-e, and a few other supplements. I cannot say I've found anything that I liked as well as Ativan but 9 years is just too long on a pharmaceutical in my opinion.

I've been doing a lot of reading about it and found a company I trust. I've been though the medication fog. In talking to my therapist I asked about CBDs, and now that it's medicinal here, if this works, could I consider the oil or even the traditional method. I've never been a smoker (cigars etc) but not this, so I'm not apt to try the CBDs, to see how it might help. The price for the lowest dose was 40.00 so I try it for a few weeks and if it doesn't fair well, then I can consider another option. I'm more natural medicine conscious.

I've never used CBD oil. But I do vaporize cannabis almost every hour. It gives me relief from recurring images and flashbacks. I also take clonazepam which calms me down enough to stop stuttering, shaking and twitching. I couldn't function without either right now.
