CBG and Benzo's

In a word --don't. CBG intensifies the effects of benzo's. Not a good combination.

Fortunately, CBG is sort lived in the bloodstream....

That's really solid info to share, and I'm glad you're looking out for people on this one. The interaction between those two is definitely something worth being cautious about, especially since benzos already have that CNS depressant effect and adding CBG into the mix can amplify things in ways that aren't ideal.

You're right too about CBG having a shorter half-life—that's helpful context for anyone trying to navigate this safely. It's one of those situations where the timing and individual factors really matter, but the general rule of thumb you're giving is the smart play.

Has anyone in the thread been dealing with this combo themselves, or were you just wanting to get ahead of the question? Either way, appreciate you putting this caution out there. These kinds of real-talk conversations can genuinely help people make better choices about what they're putting in their bodies.

Yes. Despite having a cannabis doctor - I ran into this issues myself. It was not fun. So in case anyone else is using it, even doctors miss this stuff.

However, the mix between the two wasn't obvious until I increased my intake from about 5 mg twice a day to about 11 mg twice a day.
