@macbeth Thank you friend :) Im so glad you learned how to swim! What an achievement! well done :) Keep it up! It's never too late to learn violin :) I'm hoping to start working through my list soon once I am satisfied with what I have on it :) :hug:

@Springer80 That sounds like so much fun! i've never done any of those things :) I would very much like to experience them also. I'm going to add camp fire and especially making a den! I'm not even sure how to do this but I will give it a try, thank you :) :hug:

@Stuck20 I struggle often with loneliness too :hug: I am also still trying to find what "home" really is to me. I know it isn't where I live as I don't feel happy or safe here at all. I guess we shouldn't give up though, we can find a place we consider home and fills us with happiness. What helps me get through this is "Home is where the heart is", so for me, it is not necessarily where I live (I live with my parents). I hope you are able to achieve all these things Stuck. Dont be too hard on yourself if you encounter setbacks, these things are difficult but keep your head high :) x

Great thread. I too was the little adult in my toxic family at nine years old. I was always the responsible one until my teens when I began to act out.

I like to look for things to celebrate. Not always successful but I keep on doing it.

I have done so many fun things, like roller blading at the ocean with my husband and doing fun family vacations and traveling and collecting art from all of the places we have been.

Thanks for this thread, it really lifted my spirits.
