I'm with the petition and media option. Is there a community leader everyone respects who can head up a quick rallying cry to get the food moving through some other umbrella organisation?
There are good people in all walks of life, as there are selfish people. I'm so sorry you've been betrayed in this way.

Thanks! Trouble is, we are in Kansas, and the main office is in Georgia! I'm hoping and praying that the people 'in charge will not let the food go to waste!! We haven't heard anything in the last 2 weeks so not sure what is going on!
