1000 nights arabic book

I haven’t read this book! I know stories from it but not all of them. I know the framing story because that was read to me. What’s your favorite one? :D

Still pretty anxious :/

I was good for a bit away from home. Then got home and the anxiety was back.

Actually, no. I started worrying about a radiator I left on. But then got home and the anxiety didn’t stop when I saw that the radiator was fine.

It’ll just have to do. I still haven’t seen my therapist. I think she forgot to call me back! Good thing the medications have all been righted, but I haven’t taken my morning dose. Maybe that’s why I’m anxious?

Oh wait, no, I got triggered earlier. I bet that did it. I’ve been avoiding that.

Oh WAIT it’s probably a combination of the human trigger, the this-morning trigger, and also my mom had oral surgery today and I’m probably afraid of getting triggered. (Because when my twin brother did he ended up needing help and was too high on anesthesia to put gauze in his own mouth, and his mouth is smaller than a toddler’s (not exaggerating) and he panicked after he saw how much he was bleeding after getting six teeth pulled, which reminded me of my little brother after he accidentally cut his artery which SHOULDN’T HAVE been doable.)

My mom’s fine though. And she doesn’t need my help for anything. I made her some soup and she had a blast with that and eggnog (cuz why not, it’s filling!)

Or the tornado. Or the “flashback” (in quotes because it’s not traumatic) about my dad convincing me he needed to look at my bum after the dog attack. Very uncomfortable memory. Not for the reason you think either. It was because he was being nice to me. That really bothers me. I’m so worried there’s a real human in his brain somewhere and we could be friends. If he’d stop stalking my mom.

The illustration is absolutely beautiful. I wanted to do a tattoo off of it, but it should be too expensive and too big for my taste. Maybe some day
It takes up 2 A4 pages.
