Also @Freida guess what! I CAN handle myself in an emergency! :D My training actually stuck! I didn’t think it would ?

Now the hard part is I’m NOT a certified nurse so I’m just standing around in the ER waiting to hear something useful. Made some phone calls to inform my siblings but otherwise can’t do much at this point. That’s been much more annoying.

Anyway. Hope she lives. She didn’t get help for six hours because she didn’t want to inconvenience me. Sounds like a stroke or heart attack, maybe something else. Or both. Hard to know at this stage. Her symptoms were crazy and I’m not a nurse nor a doctor. But she is conscious so hopefully that’s good. Because she’s past the thirty minute cut off for that stroke med. (I didn’t tell her that. Instead I let her slurred nonsense talk lecture me about how I shouldn’t speed because I’ll get pulled over. Mothers gotta mother. She was not thinking straight but it’s cool.)

I’m very sure it was a heart attack, anyway. Six hours in it’s amazing she was still conscious.

I’m going to need to set some ground rules with her. She can’t NOT wake me up for these things. Yeah, I’ll be grumpy that you woke me up, but damn, girl, I’ll get over it.
