@ODG. They lost mine, too. :eek::confused::mad: Fortunately we had the sprayers for just about everything except the peanut butter in the ass shot. But I've been spray-gunned I don't know how many times. A few. Always worried I'd move and it would slice my arms open. Pretty sweet, though. 40 shots of mystery-microbes (and god knows what else) in half a second. Pzzzzzpt!! Pzzzzpt!! Step forward. Pzzzzzpt!! Pzzzzpt!! Step forward. Sorry to off topic possibly - have either of you had any luck writing to National Archives about the lost records? Or did y' go over a list of docs you recall treating you to see if they don't got anything archived

I have. But realize, my life is an archive at this point.

My entire deployment records do not exist. Other than to state who I was and what I did. Everything else is gone.

One other thing @Kaishi. If,you were a member of the U.S. Armed forces you should have access to the D.E.E.R.S system. There you can apply for the N.A. online and get it. You still need to sent a fax signature verification for all requests though.

Grizzly, thank you - I wasn't, was asking with a friend in mind. He tends to be very resigned about getting help once the system screws him over and originally we had this discussion a year back or so so I wondered about getting back to him with some news.

Well, there are not a lot of Vets who have not been in the very same shoes as your friend. It's tough to show trust in the system once it has screwed you over.

Reinforce the fact that he is a vet. He never gave up before. Why should he give up to this?
