I'm a mental health clinician. In a session today with a young man, I became deeply affected by his relating his trauma details. It's five hours after the fact, and I keep thinking of the things he said. I know it's normal, but stuff like this does not usually stick with me so long. All in all, it was the fact that he stated that even three years after his trauma, he does not feel anyone in his family has forgiven him for the accident he was involved with. Only about 12 at the time, how could his family not have supported him?
Damn.
Thanks for anyone who reads this...sometimes just writing it out like this helps a good bit.
