My grandfather was in WW2 and he would have flash rages about stuff that would remind him about it like food or sounds unfortunately hes dead now
My dad was beaten constantly by my grandfather and he was in Vietnam and he also had PTSD but hes better now
And now i have it I've been thinking about it and maybe PTSD could somehow be passed on by genes?
or maybe its our behavior towards things my grandmother told me how my dad and my grandfather were never open about what bugging them and they would shy away to help. We would rather isolate ourselves then to seek comfort.
It could also be because our lives really suck.

Again this is just a random thought

So anyways, hows your day?

Welcome to the forum, ((((Brazenbull))))

There's several studies I'm run across show inter-generational linkages to trauma.

One in particular from the babies born to 9/11 Moms revealed the babies were more likely to show PTSD markers...and this worries me as My daughter was born in early Oct of that year.
My parents likely both had it, and my Mom's fam. Possibly Dad's.

May you find comfort, healing, and hope here.

The 'sucky life' thing gets better as we learn people skills, and how to take care of our boundaries.
