Customer Victimization

Im a delivery driver, a few weeks ago a customer accused me of stealing, which I can safely say I did'nt and it was'nt proved.

Since this has happened I have had problem after problem with this customer, which work know all about as I have told my transport manager. But now the customer has complained that I swore at him and now I'm the one who's been suspended.

I've asked for the file with all the complaints that I've made and they've told me there is'nt one.

I'm not the first driver to have problems with this customer and they've signed something for me to prove there's been complaints made about this customer before. But I'm still worried that the company will not want to rock the boat and loose money, so will just take his side and get rid of me.

Am I being victimized and does anyone have any advise for me?

Hi Matt, I'm sorry it is rough at the moment. I don't want to pry or be insensitive, but do you or someone close to you suffer from PTSD? This forum is for those affected by PTSD.

Hi Matt

Whilst this is very distressing for you, and probably has caused you a lot of anxiety, it will not cause you to suffer with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. It does not fit into the criteria at all, and never will.

The best advice anyone can give you, is to find out why this customer does this, and if your company allows him to accuse their employees, then get out now.

Find a job that supports its workers.
