Dancing Progress

We have been doing really well with dancing & learned our first "bronze" level steps in the Rumba called 'the Sweetheart' even though we are still in general variety (basics)!!!!

I got hooked watching this stuff when my son was a baby-it was one of the only things on at 3 a.m.! Now I'm re-hooked because of Dancing with the Stars, believe it or not. ( Hines Ward-Steelers player is on this season.... ). GOSH it's lovely to watch, must be amazing to dance this way. Hope it's ok to keep asking for updates. :D

Love to give updates Anni.

Tonight we went to Group Lessons and learned some merengue, samba and one which is like the nutbush but Spanish..... it's actually challenging to dance with other partners at group than just with the same person. It's also great as all are out to help each other so its forces you to be open and learn or assist your partner depending on how they are going. Really nice people attend our group and our teach has a great personality.

Actually forgot to mention we bought Antony slippery soled shoes so he can slide better than wearing the gripping shoes he had. And tonight he aced everyone in the group and at the end was trying to teach a few of us how to do the group dance end as he "got it" and we were still struggling. I think his army marching has its advantages in dancing.

Well it's official.... we have now progressed into Bronze level...Anthony doesn't care about the medals but I figure if we are going to do the work I want the medal.
