There is a supporter section on here that you will find has some really great advice on being the supporter of someone with PTSD. Lots of people in similar situations. The role of a supporter is not easy and definitely does complicate things.

I for one "get you"...have experianced just about everything ptsd has to offer wirh my guy over a 15 year rollercoaster...it is doable...it is hard work...

He seems to experience evry symptom that PTSD has to offer. And it's draining. We've only been married 2 years, and we didn't even celebrate this year.
