I can assure everyone here that I would not be able to run a 10K at the present time, as I'm far from being in top shape.

If I went out for a nonstop run around my neighborhood right now, I probably wouldn't even last a mile.

On the bright side, though, it wouldn't take me that long to be able to run nonstop for, say, three miles. Last year I went running a fair amount. And not too much longer, I was able to run three miles nonstop. For me...to my standards, that's a lot.
