As that time of year approaches, I reflect on the year past to determine my "personal" resolution. Before I do that I first evaluate if I finished last years or does it get added on to this year.

Last year I did not share with anyone, but my resolution was three fold:

1. Quit Smoking by this New Year.
2. Eat Healthy and on a regular basis.
3. Begin exercising on a regular basis.

2 out of 3 done :thumbs-up!

I have exercised but not regularly. It is not part of my daily activities. 1&2 are complete.

2009 is fast approaching, it is time for reflection.

I'm glad the year is almost over I am so ready to move on.

Wow, good for you, Cindy! The cigarette is one of the hardest drugs to quit!

*hangs head* - um, my New Year's resolution from 2008 was purposely a joke - to become famous before 2009. My one fan may agree that I am famous, if I can find him or her!

OMG, it's MIDI!!!!! Can I have your autograph?? Puh-leeeeaze???

Sorry, Midi, I couldn't resist  Although perhaps you're not famous, I know I've really appreciated your responses and support in my diary. Thank you :Hug_emoticon:

I'm trying to remember if I had any resolutions in 2008. I think the only one was to regain full use of my hand, or at least as much as was possible. That one I accomplished (with the help of a wonderful PT/OT and a good orthopaedist). I haven't determined any resolutions for 2009 yet, other than to get back to running on a regular basis.

Btw, Cindy, congrats on quitting smoking :thumbs-up

"KUDOS" for joining those of us who are now smoke free. I smoke for 40 years and have been of the things for 5.

Resolutions, I can't remember---unless it was to work on my memory!

I'm gonna try not to drink anymore, I'm not gonna drink any less either I just could not do that to those fine people at Anheuser Busch lol. Fire.:occasion:

I gave up smoking, started and have stopped again now, so I guess I did it!

This year I'm going to try and stay off the booze, perhaps for good! Bring it on!!!!!

I haven't quit smoking yet but I have quit drinking. I have grown so much since I accomplished this.

Next year will be dedicated to quitting cigarettes. One thing at a time ya know?

I quit drinking, smoking, sex and gave up dating...There is nothing left, except giving up chocolate....NOT going there......
