I appreciate the discussion that has been going on in this thread. I have spent 6 days at work basically getting nothing done and came in with the idea of asking for suggestions on how to get off the dime. Had never heard of "DBT" before. Doing 20 minutes of reading online brought me back to the meditation practices I was using back 35 years ago when I went into therapy the first time ... and which I had completely gotten away from.
