Today I've been struggling. I had a few dissociating episode's.
I have alot going on right now but I could really do with not having these episode's.
There so exhausting and I feel I'm losing alot of my time which is really confusing as well.
I know the more I stress the more it's going to happen, but I can't just change how I'm feeling right now, it's so frustrating...........

While I can't relate to your experience of dissociating episodes I can relate to your frustration about not being able to change how you are feeling. I wish that I had some easy answers but I guess I am still looking for them myself! Is there anything you can do that might distract yourself for a little while to help take your mind off of some of those feelings? (I know it is easier said than done!) I do hope the stress starts to lessen for you lilstar!

Everything will be okay in the end lilstar. I want you to know that you are awesome and that you try really hard to do the right things and make everyone else feel good even you are feeling crappy and sad. Just letting you know that I look up to you a lot. You are kind of like an older sister to me.:)

I think NSIFIB has a good idea. If you can distract yourself for a bit, you may relax and be less stressed. Maybe take a hot bath, get a manicure or pedicure or both. Have a favorite food or treat.

Wish I could have a quick fix for you. My thoughts are with you. (You can be my distraction.) Here are some  hugs just for you.

Thank you WW, i have a huge text book i'm trying to revise that should distract me for awhile!!

Diassacosiated for 14 years, erm, yes whenever I feel the adrendalin that permenantly goes through me then I dread missing sections of my life, then I get more bad news and all I can think is please don't shut down.

It's sooooooo frustrating. I find it really distressing which only makes me do it more. Therapy is definitely helping but when the therapy gets tough the dissasociation comes back. It's had a massively negative impact on my life and career. Therapy is the only answer for me. Stay strong. :)
