Supporter Divorcing my spouse of 10 years

@Zoogal , hon, no need to apologize for your feelings.. feelings aren't right or wrong. It's been very hard for me to learn to step back when something upsets me.

And we don't know how supporters feel... but he shared how he felt and the actions he felt he needed to take. He did not come across as a victim, but he certainly was, by someone ,who apparently refused to take responsibility for HER actions and reactions.. we don't know this woman or her side... just as when we are venting about someone in our life... all we have to do, and we don't even HAVE to really, is be supportive of someone having a hard time...

But thank you for that growth.... that takes courage to say we could have handled something differently... I understand how you feel, it's just that he was not speaking to those who are trying to get healthy. Glad you posted again. much respect !!!

We don't know what he 'should or should not have done'... he did what was right for him... just as we do in our own posts.... but the 'bite me' did make me smile.. so, no harm , no foul... you did good!!

Dear guest Mawk,

Have you been found not guilty or otherwise have the domestic violence charges against you been dropped? If not, you may want to speak to your defense attorney before continuing to post details of your situation on a public website.

Otherwise, are you looking for peer support? Or to just rant at a diverse international group sufferers because of what you have experienced with one person whose behavior may not even be due to PTSD?
