It's pretty sad their response time. I have seen a couple of posts on facebook that shows a gun and the caption is this is my 911.

I gotta say, it was one of those adrenaline superpower situations when I saw my dog through the ice on the pond. I was hyper focused getting to her and picked her out of the water with one hand (an Alaskan Malamute). When I got her in the house I fell apart my heart was beating so hard.

@Blue Survivor .... How about this?

Now how about that?

Your comments are very self righteous and factually incorrect!

That's a loaded question. Myself since fighting a cop in my home to get back to my son after they dragged me off of him while I was doing CPR and they wouldn't continue it even though I begged them to after I got his heart beat back.
I have alot of anger at the one officer that practically broke my wrist and blackened my eye then locked me up for hours covered in my son's blood when I only wanted to continue the CPR like any parent would until paramedics got there. But then again the other officers in my town have talked to my husband and have expressed concern and compassion for our family. But I still have nightmares/flashbacks of fighting that officer to get back to my son and have beat on my poor husband when he tries to wake me or wake me from sleepwalking.
So mixed feelings about police. At this point I get terrible memories flood back if I even hear a siren or see a cop car. And sometimes I still hear sirens that aren't there but my meds have really helped with this.

To answer the question, depending where I am. In here? Mostly not having issue. Unless I'm protesting and the like. But then that isn't entirely about them being cops, but what sort of event it is. In every case my issues with police are still more likely to depend on other factors than that they're police. It's not their job that bothers me.

Got pulled over today, actually...I lost control of my vehicle in the rain, ended up in someone's driveway, but nothing was damaged except some bushes, homeowner said not to worry about paying for them even though I offered repeatedly, so I drove off, but had leaves and mud all over one side of the vehicle, and the officer pulled me over to check on what happened.

Anyway, he was really nice about it all, and wanted to make sure everything was okay, and that was it.
