Do You Have A New Year's Resolution?

Having PTSD in itself is a challenge and I just want to feel mentally and physically stronger this year. And not keep repeating the same mistakes over and over again. That would be nice

Loloma, this says it all and is so very true. :)

I always say I'll make a resolution but then feel pressured by it so you're right, one day at a time is the best way forward. Kimba you said it well:

I am just taking things as they come. No expectations, no disappointments

Did anyone else remember to think of one for this year? I am going to try the no alcohol thing for awhile, again. I would add quit smoking to the list of things I need to change but I would probably wuss out due to the shock of having no beer or cigarettes. What is your resolution you should have made? Do you have the stuff to kick the habit or start up a healthy one?

My therapist asked me to think about my 2012 goals, and i immediately responded with the answer. 'I want to be able to have a relationship, feel emotions, be in love'. Something that seems so easy, but for me right now, so hard to reach. But i am really positive about it though.
My second big thing is start college again!!!!!!! Because i know i can :) And i feel i really am ready for it now:)
I guess i'm in a good mood today!

I didnt make any resolutions for new years specifically. I had already made the changes to my life that I had to make before then.

Today is 43 days without a smoke.
I now run 5km at least 5 times a week.
I am working with my Pdoc to sort out my head.
In 6 months my new life will have begun...

And she is only a daydream away...
