Relationship Do You Think They Get Misdirected Anger And Enjoy Time With Others More Than You?

Honestly, he is not alone in this belief (I don't think), and I would not call it irrational. I thin...

I know calling a black person the N word seems like it would make a person a racist but in his case I have talked to him and I am not really sure it is the case.

For example, last Halloween in our somewhat smaller town we had news that the KKK was going to show up somewhere downtown so parents of children decided it was best that they didn't take their children out near that area where businesses were giving out candy. This infuriated him. He said we don't need this kind of sh*t going on here, etc.

I hate the use of the N word and it does confuse me how he could use it. Not making excuses but when you grow up in the South and he might have heard it all of his life it could have become a habit. He will use it when he has become so angry when something has happened like the rioting, etc.

He is not wanting a race war. He thinks Obama wants one and that the President has done things to put race relations backwards instead of moving forwards which upsets him.

That's why I asked the question if misplaced anger can send someone with ptsd into irrational thinking even to this sort of talk. I think you just have to know him. Sometimes he is just so depressed that I don't think he even realizes some of the really outrageous, illogical statements he makes to me when I try to discuss something with him.
