Sexual Assault Doctors

Is it important to let your medical doctors know about the PTSD? Do you think that they will think badly of me when I tell them? I feel like it's important that they know. I told my regular physician, but I felt anxious and ended up crying a little when i told her about it. This is one the roughest disorders. Even telling a doctor about it is hard. :(

I would say yes, it is important for your medical doctors to know about your PTSD. And yes, telling can be hard, but it will get easier.
