I'm glad that the stop Trump movement is going to continue. I must admit I stopped watching the news about a month ago and stopped keeping up with the latest in politics as well because it was a bit much to handle.

The track record of the GOP not picking the front runner at contested conventions - this is why Trump is whining already. He knows he is likely to lose at a contested convention. I think the second ballot will go to Cruz, and then it is anyone's guess as to what happens from there...

But right now, someone other than Trump has to win in Indiana and California... or then Trump will get it. Which just can't happen. Like no.

@EveHarrington - good idea. I will think about starting a thread about the system...

If I had not decided to be involved this year because of Trump, I would not be paying much attention myself. It's annoying, no, it's PAINFUL.

Also, the GOP could alter the rules of the convention to keep Trump out. Heard a bit more talk about that from Republican strategists on MCNBC tonight. If they do, better transport Trump to an empty river bed, cause he's sure to cry a river.

If the GOP decide to rewrite the rules of the convention, Trump will almost certainly run as a third-party candidate and break the Republican base, dooming a Republican run to the White House.

Also, before people go all "ha ha US folks are so dumb, they believe in guns over education, they deserve whatever happens to them" consider

A. You're generalizing and ignoring all the politics that goes on inside an enormous country. Pretty sure you wouldn't generalize Europe to one single political entity, even with the Eurpean Union Being a Thing.

B. You've apparently never heard of gerrymandering nor the electoral college. Both disenfranchise single voters. And not all of us are able to form into PACs.

C. The structure of the two political parties is also something you don't know about.

D. As they say, don't throw stones in glass houses. There are a lot of neo-conservative movements gathering steam in Europe, too.

E. And yeah, I think you're going really far if you imply that all the disabled folks in the country, who are continuously discriminated against, deserve to fall under whatever the majority believes in. And if you say it doesn't matter what happens to those disabled folks, because they were "foolish" enough to live in this country. It's not like other countries actually openly allow folks who aren't "economically viable" to flee to their borders. Plus, that takes money, which disabled folks generally do not have much of in the US.

F. Wow, who'd a thunk there are a lot of disabled US folks on this site... Imagine that... Amazing.
