I'd be SURPRISED, if she didn't expect the Party, to have her back. I don't think they affected the outcome much because I don't think many of Bernie's backers were listening to the party anyway. (I was and basically still am a Bernie Backer, at least this round.) I think they tried, and I think he did an admirable job of getting support in spite of them. I think similar maneuvering probably went on with the other Party. It's just that they had enough "acceptable" candidates that it was hard to keep a lid on things and one of the 2 people they probably least wanted to win won. I think this kind of stuff is why we should ban political parties completely. What will you think if these statements are found out to be incorrect?
For the record, I just signed up to help get signatures to get the Green Party on the ballot in this state. It's the party that comes closest to my own views. (Not a perfect match, by any means. If I could somehow combine the Green and Libertarian parties it would be closer.) You know what they say, "The solution to pollution is dilution", I think the more parties we have represented, the better the odds of the actual will of the actual people being heard. The 2 major parties, IMO only care about "winning". In that respect, Trump fits perfectly because I think what he cares about is "Trump winning".
