I donated a dollar. I would give more if I could. This site is amazing. I used to give a hell of a lot of time as a moderator, and to be honest, morally, I don't feel like I need to give any more. However, this place has been a life line to me, and even though I'm pretty much skint, giving $1, isn't going to break me (I need hundreds of dollars right now, not just $1!), but if it keeps this place going, it will help many people, including me. And that is what is important.
$1 that's 65 pence to you UKer's. Seriously, can you not afford that amount once a year to keep this place you all use, up and running?
When I donated my dollar, I thought perhaps, I should do so anonymously, because it felt a little bit embarrassing to donate so little. But then I thought, why the hell should I be embarrassed? I'm still doing my bit, and would like to encourage everyone to do their bit too.
It's been clearly spelt out how easy it is to keep the site up and running, $1 from each of you is all it takes. Think about it. How relieved were you to find this site? How did it feel to find other people, who were struggling in the same way as you? How much valuable, and potentially life saving information have you found here? Surely that's worth $1 of your money?
