Hello,
one thing this illness has taught me is to stop taking all the little things for granted, and really celebrate little accomplishments as I gradually recover....
So, mine is that I drove my car, after 2.5 months of being far too scared to do so. I was terrified at the idea. But now I can manage a 2 mile trip into the (small) local town. The next step will be motorways. Not quite there yet....but soon I hope.
Next hurdles include getting trains and tubes in London (extremely scary, but I have to do it if I am going to get back to work). A week or two and maybe I'll try it with someone with me.
Congrats to all on all the little (actually very big) accomplishments that pave the way to healing and recovery.
