Editing Posts Turned Off

Many of the posts are directed toward me personally. Why could I not just state my opinion?

The material I posted on this forum was posted with the edit capability. If I had not had that ability, I would never have published my most personal material. Now there is no way for me to have control over it. As a member who began posting with this capability intact, I ask that my materials be removed and my account be closed now that this function has been removed.

I agree that some of the posts were directed, or replying to you. However none of those posts were in my opinion disrespecting your opinion, or attacking towards you. The whole idea of a discussion forum is that we discuss our feelings/opinions/beliefs etc.

Of course you can post your opinion, but you have to accept when you post in a forum that others may feel differently and state their opinion, or question your opinion.

When you registered upon this website, the same legal policy was accepted then as it stands now, which has nothing to do with a specific forum functionality being present or not, clearly stating:

If you have further issue, then you can attempt to take it the legal route with myself. CB acknowledge your requests, performed some actions on your behalf that she was happy to perform, though has already told you that she will not further remove any of your content as per the legal policy outlines she can so do.

I don't care what other websites do... they do not care what this website does either.

The software that we use on this site, have now developed a time limited editing facility. So this facility will become available next time the software is upgraded, which will probably occur early next year. Until then, editing will remain turned off.
