Has anyone tried EMDR to retrieve repressed memories? It’s not working well for me.

Are you working with a qualified trauma therapist?
It’s unethical for a therapist to be using something like EMDR to help retrieve repressed memories given the unreliability of memories that are ‘retrieved’ through that sort of therapy. Good chance of it doing more (unnecessary, avoidable) long term harm than helping.
Definitely understand the frustration around wanting to know, but maybe look at some other options with a more reputable trauma specialist?

Ive tried EMDR via online and it's been mixed. I had hoped it had worked nearly as soon as it stopped the flashbacks came back. I was told later my having dyspraxia had caused issues with the processing
