Employment And Health Care - Worth The Struggle?

I'm struggling with decisions. Ever since my therapy allotment ended in June, I've been having a tough time holding it together, and my insurance really sucks - lots of fighting with them and no gain. I feel trapped - better insurance means better care (and care in the first place, especially since I seem to have a ton of unexplained physical problems my current doctors won't touch). But better insurance means more money, which means more work, which means more stress in the meantime while I try to get it all sorted out.

I'm a wreck. I'm so paralyzed by financials as I try to save enough money to pay for decent health insurance out of pocket, and I'm so anxious and depressed simultaneously that I feel like I can't do any work at all, and thus, can't save any money.

I'm not quite sure what I'm looking for. I want a magical answer. Do I just take out more debt? I've been trying to eliminate mine but maybe I should just stop trying. Do I just try to deal with crappy health insurance? Do I push to make more money?

I'm feeling so, so stuck with all of this.

I'm sorry for you. I recognize the money issue. It's so frustrating! In my country you have free help to go to people who can help you with practical things. (maybe you've already done that but because I don't know I'll write it down anyway). Those people know a lot about money and also how to get money back maybe. Do you have something like that in your country? Also the place where you live, we have that you can get a bit of money when you are below some sort of income. In my country there are a lot of ways to get a bit of help with money but almost no one knows about it because they make it really difficult to find out about this... Maybe you can talk to someone who knows a lot about rules and things about money who has some ideas?

It's awful that your therapy ended while you need it so bad. Does your therapist organization maybe have an idea what you can do? The more you ask around the more people might be able to give advice or they know someone who do. There must be more people like you.

I can imagine the paralyzing of money trouble. I have that too sometimes. Its awful. You're in a circle now and have to get out somehow. But of course you know that... Does more debt give you more stress? Does pushing to make more money give your more stress? Maybe its weighing those options. Do you have free help in any way in your country? I mean like in the form of groups that come together voluntarily, students etc. Not that that help would be enough for you but maybe you can find something that helps you? I wish you well and hold on! I'm sure there'll come a better period for you!!!

Thanks, @Yvy. I'm in an awkward spot where I make too much to qualify for most subsidies, but not enough to pay for things on my own. I'm working on getting more therapy, but going through other organizations and avenues that are low-cost and not insurance related is a painful and slow process. My current health insurance is subsidized - so I can afford it - but the quality of care is just so, so low.

I'm trying really, really hard. I don't know where else to look. I'm scared about my health and scared that I don't have any way to fix it ....

I'm so sorry. Maybe a stupid question but are you able to work less so you do get subsidized and you will have more rest for yourself? And are there people who can advice you who know how these things work like a social worker maybe? Or through the internet on some help website?
