I'm having a major problem getting the help I need medically because I am very triggered by anything...

I understand! I didn't have insurance for 12 years so I didn't go to the doctors until about 3 years ago. My blood pressure was often a little high each time and I always felt the doctor didn't listen and did things wrong. For instance: she put in my records that I have osteoporosis and gave me 70 mg of Fosamax. I obtained a copy of the report and it turned out I have osteopenia, not osteoporosis. My clinic goes through a lot of providers and she soon left. 3 providers later, I finally have a decent PCP. He allows me to discuss with him changes in medication and usually agrees with what I want to do. I've figured out that at each appointment, he has time to deal with about 3 of my problems. My blood pressure is always normal when I see him. I'm also fine at the dermatologist and the neurologist. But other specialist make me anxious. The gynecologist and gastroenterologist especially make me anxious as they always want to do invasive procedures.
