Ever Had A Dream About An Old Therapist?

This is a weird thread but just thought I'd post it.

I had a really weird dream involving who I terminated via phone-call. (because he didn't get me and was making me worse due to his total inability to help me process things)

Where I'm on holidays and he was ringing me up trying to tie up loose ends and put some sort of closure on the relationship. (This was something he wanted to do back when I terminated, but in a session that I would have to pay full price for)

But anyways I entertain the call but he doesn't listen to me at all and blames me for everything.

I hang up. [[End of dream]]

I'm trying to figure out what the story is with it and what has me thinking about my old T 10 months after I last saw him. I've only ever had one dream involving my new T and it was a few months ago - it was one where my T was trying to have a session in a coffee shop and my family kept popping in and he was oblivious to how scared and uncomfortable I was.

I am not sure what your dream means. :)

Yes, I've dreamed about a therapist. But I saw her for many years and she died of an overdose so things were pretty intense and involved. Seems different than your situation. :)

I never look into dream . To me they are just what they are, we have no control over them. I've fell into a toilet and then a sea and drowned, packed a whole village of people into a tiny car and drove off... we got lost...I can't drive in reality, made mad passionate love to my horrible boss I detested, danced with my adopted dad who died a long time ago, gave birth to a beautiful adult black labrador the list goes on and they rarely have any kind of logic to them. We dream an abundance of dreams in one night but only remember the one we are having just before we waken.
